Gen z wedding
With the rise of LQBTQ+ relationships, gender neutral clothing, and a generational newfound sense of self-expression, America seems to be progressing towards anti-traditional fashion. Do these same factors affect the veering away from the most commonly followed tradition: the white wedding gown for the white wedding? Gen-Z has transformed the white wedding gown into the expressive and progressive fashion it is today, reflective of what our generation stands for.
Upscaling and modernizing traditional components of wedding gowns, I’ve incorporated the traditional color, crocheting, and a sleek silhouette. Adding lace up cutouts and an open back halter to empower the figure and add show some skin.
